In recognition of the ongoing health care pandemic with regards to COVID-19, our practice has remained in the forefront of gaining and implementing the most up to date health information and infection control guidelines to be able to continue to deliver oral surgical care to our patients in a manner that is safe for our patients and the surgical staff.
As a surgical practice for over 25 years, we have always maintained and exceeded all infection control guidelines mandated by the CDC, OSHA and State regulations in preventing the spread of any disease or infection even before this pandemic of COVID-19. We have the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and updated our strict infection control procedures. We want to assure our patients and referring doctors that we can still deliver safe, empathic and elevated surgical care in a manner that promotes the continued health of our patients and staff.
We also continue to update and implement health care infection control guidelines as they evolve and spare no expense to provide a safe place where patients can be treated as soon as possible. We are ready to manage any urgent cases, surgical consultations so as not to compromise any condition which may result in a poor outcome if treatment is delayed.
We ask our current and future patients to be patient and flexible during these times. Appointments are being spaced to avoid crowding in the waiting room. Additional patient screening will be required along with no contact temperature taking on top of filling out the medical history and patient registration forms. We also need to allow for ample time to conduct terminal sterilization of the operating room and clinic procedure rooms after patients are treated. We are serious about patient safety and mitigating disease transmission so your health and the health of our staff are always maintained and never compromised.
