Meet Dr. Louie

Louie R. Limchayseng, DMD

Dr. Louie Limchayseng is a Board Certified Surgeon specializing in Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery with over 25 years of surgical experience in the surgical management of diseases, congenital deformities, traumatic injuries,  and acquired defects of the oral and facial structures of the head and neck.

“Dr. Louie” as he is fondly called by patients and his staff, graduated from the University of the Philippines College of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Medicine D.M.D at the head of his class in 1983. After completing dental school, he started his surgical training attending a preceptorship in Oral and Head and Neck Surgery and  soon after became the Chief of Dentistry and Oral Surgery at the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital . He pursued further  surgical education and training in the U.S. and was accepted to an Internship in Anesthesiology and General Surgery.  Immediately following his internship,  Dr. Limchayseng completed his residency in Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas Texas. In addition to completing his surgical residency, he did a Fellowship year in Maxillo-Facial Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School also in Dallas Texas.

In addition to enjoying his private practice, he maintains an active role in the education and training of surgical residents by being on the surgical faculty of the Alameda County Medical Center Highland Hospital in Oakland. He has been on the surgical faculty since 1993. Dr. Louie is dedicated to the education of future Oral Maxillofacial Surgery residents to the highest standards of the profession. He was awarded the UOP Donald H. Devlin Award in 2003 for his exemplary dedication to resident education. Dr. Louie has a faculty appointment as Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillo-Facial University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.

Dr. Louie practices the complete scope of Oral and Maxillo-Facial surgery which includes reconstructive facial surgery, Orthognathic surgery for facial deformities and obstructive sleep apnea, dental Implant reconstruction and bone regenerative surgery, surgical pathology, maxillo-facial trauma, and general and pediatric oral surgery.

He maintains two practice locations for the convenience of his patient’s in both Marin and Sonoma counties. Dr. Louie is dedicated to using his extensive training, experience and expertise to provide the highest level of surgical care to you and your family.
